My name is Sheyenne Davis and I am pleased to working with the COCOSPA youth. I have a Master's of Arts in Counseling specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT/PCC) as well as School Counseling (PPS). I have five years of experience in academic planning and one year of experience as a mental health trainee and I recently finished my field placement at Martin Luther King Middle School (Primary) and Bishop O’Dowd High School (Secondary). Throughout my previous experience, I provided individual and group counseling sessions to students ages 11-18 regarding career development, academic achievement, social behavior, conflict resolution, and mental and physical health psychoeducation. I gained experience working with students with disabilities, as well as crisis students who may have recently experienced trauma. I pride myself on my ability to strengthen relationships and decrease conflicts between peers and administration.
I am dedicated to promoting a supportive, stimulating, and inclusive environment that will allow all students to reach their fullest potential. I am excited about joining the COCOSPA Team, I will provide students with the guidance and support need to ensure they reach their goals and COCOSPA expectations.
