Robert C. Chalwell, Ph.D. has a diverse background in K-12 Education, Higher Education, Public Sector Administration, Challenge Based Learning, and Development Research. He is a classically trained tenor and music program director, and an accomplished public speaker and trainer on a wide variety of individual, community, and organizational development topics.
His expertise in Youth Development, Instructional Leadership, Inclusive Education, School Turnaround, Student Engagement, and the Performing Arts are high level skills he brings to the role of CoCoSPA Principal. He has also trained and lectured on Vocal Pedagogy, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Equity in Education, Restorative Practices, Organizational Practice, Economic Development, US Government, State & Local Government, and International Relations.
He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Texas, a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership & Supervision from Canisius College, a Master's Degree in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master's Degree in Global Affairs from the University of Buckingham, a Master's Degree in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor's Degree in Voice from Boston University.
