Spanish I

In the first year of Spanish, students will  begin to develop and enhance their knowledge of the four basic areas of communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will learn how to identify themselves and relate themselves to others.  Language skills will be reinforced through multiple mediums (music, texts, cultural notes, etc.).

Spanish II

In the second year of Spanish, students will begin to enhance their knowledge of the four basic areas of communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will continue to learn how to identify and relate to others, and will expand into describing their local community and their daily lives. Language skills will be reinforced through multiple mediums (music, texts, cultural notes, etc.).

Spanish III

In the third year of Spanish, students will continue to enhance their knowledge of the four basic areas of communication: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will continue to identify themselves, describe their daily lives, and relate to others. Students will advance to describing histories (storytelling), and expressing how they view the world. Language skills will be reinforced through multiple mediums (music, texts, cultural notes, etc.).
